Hi, I’m Johanna and I love to bake
Kootcakes is a council registered cakery, specialising in buttercream cakes and is situated in the beautiful town of Taupo, NZ. All my cakes are made from scratch with care and attention to detail. My motto is quality over quantity as I take on 3-4 cakes a week.
I love a challenge and to bake and decorate cakes - and eat them too!
I'm a wife, mum to two girls and love to keep fit (well try!). There's plenty to keep me busy but my cakes give me a creative outlet.
If your wondering “what the?” regarding Koot ... this is my maiden name and is Dutch in origin. We pronounce it like coot eg. “ you silly old coot!”
